[Logprofs] FutureBAProf at Iowa

Hello-

We are now accepting applications for the 4th FutureBAProf workshop, a one-and-half day workshop at the University of Iowa for advanced PhD students and postdocs.  This is the one and only workshop that demystifies academic careers in business analytics and helps participants prepare for the job market and careers in this field.

Our website is up to date (https://tippie.uiowa.edu/FutureBAProf), and students can now apply online via the website.  All accepted applicants will attend for FREE including air travel.   The only restriction is that students are at a U.S. institution.  Applications are due April 30.

The workshop will be held in Iowa City from August 13 (opening reception) - August 15 (day of departure).  Participants will have opportunities to learn more about what research falls in business analytics departments, practice networking with business analytics faculty, and get expert job search advice.

This year's event is being coordinated by Thiago Serra (thiago-serra at uiowa.edu<mailto:thiago-serra at uiowa.edu>), Kang Zhao (kang-zhao at uiowa.edu<mailto:kang-zhao at uiowa.edu>), and myself (ann-campbell at uiowa.edu<mailto:ann-campbell at uiowa.edu>).
