 The Department of Marketing, Management and Supply Chain in the Woody L. Hunt College of Business at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for a prestigious endowed chair position. The ideal candidate will have an established record of distinguished research evidenced by publications in widely recognized top-tier academic journals and be recognized as a leader in Operations and Supply Chain Management - Transportation and Logistics, especially on U.S.-Mexico trade and commerce issues. The faculty member will be appointed at the rank of full professor and is expected to develop collaborative relationships with the faculty and Centers within Hunt College and other regional, national, and international entities to enhance the mission of UTEP. Responsibilities include scholarly research and publishing findings in top academic journals, instruction at undergraduate and graduate levels, and participating in the Ph.D. Program in Business Administration by mentoring doctoral students and serving on dissertation committees, serving on faculty committees, and engaging in community outreach.
The anticipated starting date is fall 2024. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and appropriate for the required experience and qualifications. Hiring decisions are subject to final budgetary approval.
