The Management Department in Miami University's Farmer School of Business
invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor
(tenure-track). The Assistant Professor (tenure-track)  teaches
introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses in Supply Chain &
Operations Management; maintains an active research program and publishes
in highly-regarded journals; advises students; and provides service to the
institution at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The appointment
begins in August 2024

The Farmer School of Business graduates approximately 1,000 students per
year across its undergraduate and graduate programs.  The Farmer School of
Business is housed in a state-of-the-art building and is home to several
nationally recognized programs.  The Management Department is home to a
group of faculty dedicated to providing outstanding teaching and research
in various topics related to supply chain and operations management.  The
SC&OM area is rated as the #18 undergraduate program by Gartner, a global
research and advisory firm. The Center for Supply Chain Excellence fosters
student engagement, corporate partnerships, and cutting-edge research.

Required: Doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management,
Logistics, Strategic Management, or closely related field. ABDs may apply
but all degree requirements must be completed by December 31, 2024 for
appointment to a second year.

potential and a commitment to teaching excellence.
