The Saunders College of Business, which is broadly positioned at the intersection of technology, innovation, and management, invites applications for a renewable E. Philip Saunders Endowed Professorship in Supply Chain Management within the Department of Management.
Applicants must be at the level of associate or full professor and meet the tenure requirements of the college with a demonstrated record of scholarly achievements in the form of publications in elite supply chain management and management journals, such as the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Decision Sciences, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Management Science, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, and Strategic Management Journal.
In addition to contributing to a community committed to advancing high-impact research and scholarship, the candidate will engage in disciplinary-specific teaching; maintain industry connections; support student-centeredness; promote diversity and pluralism; demonstrate integrity and ethics; and work collaboratively. Potential teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate level SCM strategy, capstone/project based experiences, and/or operations management.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in supply chain management, logistics, sourcing, purchasing and supply management, operations management, decision sciences or related areas (from an AACSB or equivalent institution).
Demonstrated record of highly-regarded research publications relevant to the area of specialty.
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in SCM-related areas.
Ability to contribute to the development and growth of the SCM degree programs and related activities.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all constituencies including students, faculty, staff, alumni, administration, and industry partners.
Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the college's continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences.

Detailed Job Description
The Department of Management in the Saunders College of Business (SCB) invites applications for a full-time visiting lecturer position starting in January or August 2023 in Supply Chain Management (SCM). The position includes supporting the SCM area by teaching courses in the field and maintaining industry connections. The Saunders College values collegial individuals who are excellent communicators, innovative teachers, and have demonstrated active industry participation. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate level SCM strategy, with appropriate project-based experiences, and/or operations management, professional activity and school service. This includes student recruiting and supervision, and client/project management. This lecturer will spend 80% effort on teaching (normally 8 courses per year), leading, coordinating and 20% effort in providing service to the department and college by serving on assigned committees, attending department and college meetings, participating in recruiting events, and handling other responsibilities as assigned. We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the ability and interest in contributing to a community committed to student centeredness; professional development and scholarship; integrity and ethics; respect, diversity and pluralism; innovation and flexibility; and teamwork and collaboration.
