Instructor - Supply Chain Management



The Department of Management at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a temporary faculty position in the field of Supply Chain Management.  The position will be at the instructor level, and is renewable annually for a maximum of two years (three years total).  This position will begin in the spring of 2021.
The person hired for this position will teach undergraduate and graduate supply chain management classes.  Possible courses include, but are not limited to Supply Chain Management, Industrial Purchasing and Logistics Management, Global Sourcing and Innovation, Project Management, Managerial Negotiations, and Supply Chain Analytics.  A typical teaching load consists of four sections of supply chain management classes per semester.  Student mentoring and service on committees at the department, college, and university level is also expected. To apply, go to www.unomaha.edu/humanresources/. Minimum educational requirements for the position include possession of a MBA or Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, operations research, decision science, or closely related field from an AACSB accredited university.

A PhD is preferred, and significant teaching experience is desired.  5 years of any combination of teaching and/or business experience is required.
