Dear colleagues

VU University in Amsterdam has two job openings for tenure track assistant professors and/or associate professors in logistics/supply chain management. 
To support the logistics research group’s research and teaching activities, we are looking for candidates with strong quantitative skills and an interest in solving real-life problems in logistics and operations management. We are looking for candidates who have:
 
• A (nearly) completed PhD thesis in Operations Research, Operations Management, Management Science or equivalent; 
• A strong interest in solving real-life problems in logistics and operations using state-of-the-art quantitative methods and empirical data witnessed by international scientific publications; 
• Good teaching and communication skills to interact successfully with students, industry and academic partners.
