Dear Colleagues - Greetings from the NOFOMA 2017 Conference!


The 29th NOFOMA Conference (8-9 June) as well as the NORDLOG Doctoral Day (7 June) and the Educators Day (7 June) will this year be hosted by Lund university/Faculty of Engineering, Sweden. Lund university is a classic top-100 university that 2017 celebrates 350 years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHJIvinWx14

This is the 2nd Call for Papers - we welcome papers within a wide variety of logistics/SCM topics (see attached Call for paper). The major theme of the conference is "Taking on Grand Challenges".
We are happy to announce that the first keynote speaker this year will be:

Professor Thomas Y. Choi, Arizona State University, on the topic Building a research stream from a case study.


The annual NOFOMA Conference typically attract about 150 senior and junior researchers in Logistics and SCM. Most come from the Nordic countries, but increasingly also from Germany, UK, US, Canada, Austria, Netherlands etc. Please distribute this Call for papers to colleagues!

The best full paper and the best full paper by PhD(s) will be awarded, and some of the best full papers will be invited to be reviewed for a Special issue of International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management.
There will also be presentations of Work in Progress (WIP) papers.
