Professor of Practice in Supply Chain Management
Lehigh University’s Department of Management seeks to fill a full-time professor of practice position in supply chain management beginning January 2014. Candidates must be able to teach supply-chain and operations management related courses, including strategic management, at the undergraduate and graduate level. Team teaching and development of distance education and web-based instruction are likely. The candidate would be expected to contribute significantly to the mission of the University, College, and Department through service. The candidate is also expected to be an executive thought leader and participant in Lehigh University’s Center for Value Chain Research, which fosters industry support of research on value chain effectiveness. Interested candidates must possess at least a completed Master’s degree, demonstrated teaching experience at the collegiate level, and extensive supply chain and operations management industry experience.

The Management Department includes faculty in strategic management, supply chain management, information systems, and organizational behavior.
Located in historic Bethlehem in eastern Pennsylvania, the campus is situated on more than 2,350 acres and is 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 75 miles west of New York City. The scenic Lehigh Valley and surrounding area boasts a wide range of recreational and cultural opportunities and is close to recreational waterways, mountains, and parks. Lehigh Valley International Airport is only 15 minutes from campus.
