Clinical Faculty Position

Department of Supply Chain & Information Systems (SC&IS)

The Supply Chain & Information Systems Department at the Smeal College of Business, The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA), invites applications for a non-tenure track, clinical faculty position in Supply Chain Management. The appointment is available for either January 2013 or August 2013, and is renewable every three years based on teaching and service performance.

We seek an individual who has prior teaching and/or professional experience in areas directly related to Supply Chain Management.  We desire candidates who (1) can help design and deliver courses in our undergraduate programs, as well as in our on-line graduate degree programs in supply chain management, (2) have the potential to participate in executive education is desirable, and (3) hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a closely related area. This is an ideal appointment for the individual who wishes to concentrate on teaching and has strong interests in mentoring students, supporting program events, and promoting industry outreach.

The primary selection criteria are knowledge of the field, excellent teaching and outreach capabilities, and strong recommendations.

The Department of Supply Chain & Information Systems offers a highly ranked program that is among the largest in North American with over 1,000 students and 30 full-time faculty.  The individual chosen will join a collegial and vibrant professional program.
