SEEKING PARTNERS FOR FALL 2012 CLASSROOM EXERCISE

We are seeking to increase the number of university participants throughout the world for the 3rd iteration of the Global Workgroup Project. Join the University of North Texas, Auburn University, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Bryant University (Rhode Island), Hull University, and the Universidad de los Andes School of Management (Bogotá, Colombia) for a team case exercise using a professionally written CSCMP case and student teams consisting of a blend of students from a variety of countries. The exercise will be conducted from 1-November to 16-November, 2012 (A Spring 2013 iteration will be held as well in April 2013).

This is a great no-cost classroom multinational collaboration of curriculum incorporating globalization, critical thinking skills, data interpretation and analysis, and teamwork into the classroom using displaced student groups. We customize the CSCMP "Innovative Distribution Corporation" case (last time we utilized 38 unique versions of the same case for 168 students split into 4-person teams) which analyzes and quantifies the cost of three supply chains servicing a common customer. A great innovative addition to your classroom. U.S. schools will be asked to bring an international partner.
