Good morning,
World Bank’s Connecting to Compete report with its Logistics Performance Index 2012 covering 155 countries in its International LPI section and is now available at: www.worldbank.org/lpi<http://www.worldbank.org/lpi>
The overall picture of countries’ Trade Logistics performance is similar than in LPI 2007 and LPI 2010.
The rankings of individual countries may have changed, while the underlying scores have been less affected. The actual scores of countries with similar ranks is typically extremely small, so one should avoid hasted conclusions on a country-by-country basis.
Due to its nature, this survey-based data is indicative and needs to be viewed against the Confidence Intervals (which are given on pp. 36-39 both by ranks and scores for each country).
With the best regrads, and on behalf of the entire LPI Team,
Lauri
