CALL FOR PAPERS
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT TRACK
2012 Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference
New Orleans, LA -- Hilton New Orleans Riverside
May 16 - 19, 2012
The capabilities and knowledge that are necessary to compete in dynamic markets are so diverse that key suppliers and customers have become collaborators in the delivery of value to end-customers. No single function can be responsible for managing the network of organizations that comprise the supply chain, and cross-functional, cross-firm integration with key customers and suppliers is a must. Supply chain management is increasingly viewed as the management of relationships across the supply chain through the implementation of cross-functional processes where Customer Relationship Management and Supplier Relationship Management represent the links in the chain. Supply Chain Processes should be designed to provide sustainable financial performance for the firms involved, and also to be flexible enough to adapt to a dynamic environment.
We encourage authors to submit manuscripts which address the overarching theme of the 2012 AMS conference "Marketing Dynamism and Sustainability," as well as developments in cross-disciplinary aspects of Supply Chain Management. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
* Customer relationship management
* Supplier relationship management
* Supply Chain Management in dynamic markets
* Sustainable supply chains
* Value co-creation in the Supply Chain
* Performance measurement in the supply chain
Papers that deal with Logistics in a supply chain context are welcome. Also, we invite you to submit proposals for panel sessions related to the implementation of any of the topics identified above.
To participate, authors should submit full papers, structured abstracts, or panel proposals following the submission guidelines of the 2012 AMS conference call for papers, which are available at:
http://ams-web.org/associations/213/files/CFP_2012.pdf. Submission deadline: December 1, 2011
Call for reviewers: If you would like to review papers for the 'Supply Chain Management' conference track, please contact one of the track co-chairs. We will select discussants for each session from the reviewers. Authors who submit papers to the conference can serve as reviewers.
