Supply Chain Management Tenure-Track Position
Faculty members are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in service activities. We seek candidates with an established research stream and teaching interests in our five core supply chain management courses: strategic procurement, manufacturing and services strategies, demand fulfillment, supply chain analytics, and strategic supply chain design. Candidates must provide evidence of the ability to conduct research and to teach at a quality level consistent with Smeal's high standards. Faculty rank is open depending on qualifications.
Department representatives will attend the CSCMP meeting in Philadelphia, October 2-5; the INFORMS meeting in Charlotte, NC November 13-16; and the Decision Sciences Institute meeting in Boston, MA, November 19-22. We plan to conduct preliminary interviews with a limited number of candidates at these meetings. Applicants who wish to be considered for preliminary interviews should submit a copy of their CV, a brief summary of research, and the title, date, and time of any presentations before September 29 for CSCMP and October 28 for INFORMS and DSI. Applicants who are not involved with the preliminary interviews will still be considered for the position opening.
