Hello Everyone,
As many of you know, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has just launched the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI). We are currently seeking talented and energetic professionals for several academic positions in supply chain management, logistics, and transportation.
MISI is joining MIT's Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network of academic centers that now covers four continents:
North America: The MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (Cambridge, MA USA);
South America: The Center for Latin American Logistics Innovation (Bogotá, Colombia);
Europe: The Zaragoza Logistics Center (Zaragoza, Spain); and
Southeast Asia: The Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (Shah Alam, Malaysia).
Located near Kuala Lumpur, MISI will offer graduate level education and conduct research in the areas of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management. Faculty at the MISI will work directly with researchers and educators at MIT and across the SCALE Network. We are looking for world-class researchers and educators from all career stages, to join the MISI faculty. In addition, we are searching for a senior level Rector. Requirements include a doctorate in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, economics, business, or a related discipline. Significant experience in the field of logistics and supply chain management is also required.
To get specific position descriptions and details on how to apply to these positions, as well as others across the MIT Global SCALE Network, please visit http://ctl.mit.edu/global_ctl_hiring
Please feel free to pass this information on to your current doctoral students, post-docs, and peers. Additionally, in the future we will be looking for visiting faculty across the SCALE Network - so feel free to drop me a note if you are interested in that as well.
Thanks,
Chris
