Towson University invites applications for a tenure-track entry-level assistant professor position in the Department of e-Business & Technology Management, College of Business and Economics, for Fall 2011.  Candidates must have a demonstrated potential for strong research and teaching skills in Supply Chain Management or Project Management and supporting expertise in one or more of the following disciplines;  Operations Management or Information Systems. Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses in the undergraduate, MBA, and our new graduate programs (SCM and Project, Program & Portfolio Management). The position requires a nine contact hours of teaching load per semester for the first three years. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. (or D.B.A.) in a business or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited program. ABDs with an expected graduation date no later than December 2011 will be considered. The salary is competitive.

Towson University’s College of Business and Economics is the largest undergraduate business program in the State of Maryland and is accredited by AACSB for both its business administration and accounting programs. It conducts undergraduate business programs with majors/concentrations in an array of business fields and also jointly offers a MBA program with the University of Baltimore. The college also maintains affiliated business programs in several countries.
