RENEWABLE TERM OR RANKED RENEWABLE TERM
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT FACULTY POSITION FALL 2011

The University of Oklahoma anticipates a position becoming available for the 2011/12 academic year for a terminally qualified (Ph.D. required) faculty member with a degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent discipline for either a Renewable Term (Lecturer) or Ranked Renewable Term (Assistant Professor) appointment.  Teaching areas could include undergraduate and graduate classes in Logistics, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management.  Previous teaching and program development experience preferred.

The person hired into this position will have full faculty rights - other than tenure.  Nine month appointment; teaching load 3 + 4, plus service assignments.  Salary will be dependent upon qualifications.  OU has a tradition of extending renewable term appointments dependent upon performance and College teaching requirements.

* Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
            *Demonstrated ability to interact with external constituencies.
*Demonstrated ability to participate in appropriate division, college, university, and external committees.
* Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and activity.
