Supply Chain Management Faculty Search

Colorado State University, a land grant, Carnegie Doctoral/Research
Extensive University of 23,900 students, invites nominations and
applications for supply chain management faculty positions. Preference
will be given to individuals who hold the rank of Associate Professor,
but advanced Assistant Professors will be given consideration. This
position reports directly to the Department Chair in the Department of
Management at the College of Business. A full position description and

Specific responsibilities include conducting empirical research leading
to scholarly publication in high quality, nationally recognized
journals, teaching courses in supply chain management, and service to
the College, University, profession, and/or community.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned terminal degree
in supply chain management or a related field from an IAME/AACSB
accredited institution, teaching experience in supply chain management,
and a strong empirically-oriented record of publication in high quality,
nationally recognized journals on topics related to supply chain
management.
Preferred Qualifications: Complementary expertise in sourcing/supply
management, international and/or global sustainable enterprise and
industry experience are desired.
Desirable: Evidence of ability to work in collaboration with colleagues
and evidence of on-going supply chain management scholarship (e.g.
presentation at Decision Sciences or the Operations Management Division
of the AOM, supply chain management editorial board membership,
mentoring of PhD candidates or junior faculty, etc.) is desired.
The Department of Management is one of five departments in the College
of Business, with primary foci of supply chain management,
organizational behavior/leadership and entrepreneurship/strategy. We
are a growing department of ten tenured/tenure track faculty and expect
to add several new faculty members in the near future.

Located 70 miles north of Denver at the foothills of the Rockies, Fort
Collins is an appealing city of 128,000 that offers a pleasant climate

The selected candidate will be expected to start August 15, 2008 or as
negotiated.
