[Logprofs] Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) Dissertation Award 2007

The 2007 SOLE Dissertation Award provides a $3,000 grant to a Ph.D.  
candidate and recognition by the Society through publication of an  
article in the SOLE Logistics Spectrum based on the completed  
dissertation.

I ask that you encourage qualified Ph.D. candidates in your program  
(or related programs) to apply.  Applicant will need to provide a one- 
page application plus a five-page response to two questions.   
Statements of support from two faculty members are also required.

To be eligible, the individual must be admitted to candidacy for the  
Ph.D. with a research proposal approved by his or her doctoral  
committee.  The award will be presented at the SOLE 2007 Symposium in  
Pittsburgh, PA, scheduled from 21-23 August 2007.

Applications and supporting documentation must be received by 23  
April 2007.   Materials should be emailed directly to Stan Griffis at
