[Linerva-announce] This morning's outage

Linerva was reinstalled between 12:45am-5:30am on Sunday in order to apply 
a kernel security update and in order to ensure the security of the rest 
of the system.  A rather serious vulnerability in the Linux kernel was 
announced about one day ago, and reinstalling Linerva was the only way for 
us to ensure the security of the system.  We doubt that any attacker 
gained access to user accounts during the window of vulnerability 
yesterday, but we will investigate and report any noteworthy findings.
