Two dances this week: Wednesday AND Thursday!

* MIT Lindy Hop Society Wednesday Swing Dance
* Wednesday, December 26, Lesson 7:30 Dancing 9-11:30 p.m.
* La Sala de Puerto Rico, MIT Student Center 2nd floor
* Free, Beginners welcome, No partner necessary
* DJs Ali Connell and Ted Simpson

At 7:30 p.m. before the dance, Ken will teach the 2nd lesson 
of a two-week series on dancing to non-traditional music.  
We'll examine this year's Grammy nominees for Best Song and 
Best Record, break them down musically, and learn how to 
dance to them.  We'll revisit "Somebody That I Used To 
Know", and we may or may not get to all of the songs we did 
not cover last week: "Lonely Boy", "Thinkin Bout You", "We 
Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", "The A Team", "Call 
Me Maybe".

Grand piano will be out during the dance, if anyone wants to 
play a song.

Ten-minute introductory blues lesson at 9:00.

Next week, Wednesday, January 2:  No lesson.  Dance from 
9-11:30 p.m as normal.

Wednesdays, January 9, 16, 23, 30: Our IAP lesson series 
this year will be BLUES DANCE, taught by Stephen and 
partner.

Coming some weekend in January or February, we will be 
holding solo & partnered 20's Charleston workshop taught by
