At 7:30 p.m. before the dance, Nina and Dan will teach a
lesson:

************************************
Our two-week Advanced Beginner Lindy Hop series will focus on
musicality and connection. The series will include (though this is
not an exhaustive list): working on mimicing moves when you see
another couple do them, learning to hear the "1" in the music, and
using breaks in the music. The lesson will run from 7:30-9:00 on
both days. All students should know how to do a swing-out, but
beyond that, the only requirement is an open mind and a desire to
dance! Dan and I are excited to see you there!

Coming soon in JANUARY:

During MIT's Independent Activities Period, (January 9, 16,
23, 30), Andrea and Lauren will teach RAVISHING RED HOT
LINDY: "Being a beginner dancer doesn't have to keep you in
your dorm room. We'll put an end to those cold, lonely
winter nights, in January. Andrea and Lauren will be your 4
weeks of redheaded fun, on the dancefloor. This class will
introduce you to Lindy Hop and Charleston. Both of these
energetic partnered dances were created in the 1940s to Big
Band and Jazz music."

Weeks 1 & 2 will teach Lindy Hop basics.
Week 3 will teach Charleston basics.
Week 4 will meld Lindy and Charleston and give you some extra snazzy moves.
**Each class will build on the previous week.
**Starting from Week 1 is recommended, but not required.

Coming soon in FEBRUARY:

Nina and Dan will return to teach a 4-week Beginner Lindy
Hop series.
