Swing Dancing, Lobdell, Lesson 7:30

Jenn and Gui will teach a lesson on musicality at 7:30.

Gui and Jenn will teach a lesson at 7:30 before the dance:  
Gui writes: "Jenn Martinez and I will be teaching a lesson 
on musicality. We will be focusing on a small selection of 
difficult songs to dance to (in case you haven't heard my 
swing playlist, it often includes such artists as the Black 
Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers...), 
playing through each song repeatedly and breaking each down 
into melodic components that can be easily understood and 
danced to. By the end of the class, we hope our students 
will be extremely confident in their abilities to express 
themselves on the dance floor, no matter what the song or 
dance. Some experience with partnered dancing is preferred."

NEXT WEEK: No dance (day before Thanksgiving).
