                  Howard Zinn: Bringing Democracy Alive
  November 2, 7 p.m.
  Tsai Performance Center
  Boston University
Join us as Howard Zinn, one of Boston University's most distinctive voices and a prominent American historian and social activist, speaks out on contemporary politics and policies. Zinn, professor emeritus of political science at Boston University, taught at the College of Arts and Sciences from 1964 until 1988. He is best known as the author of the influential A People’s History of the United States, which presents American history through the lens of historical outsiders; he is also the author of, among many others, You Can’t Be Neutral on a Moving Train: A Personal History of Our Times and Terrorism and War. His forthcoming book, due in December from City Lights Books, is titled A Power Governments Cannot Suppress.
