The server svn.mit.edu will be down from 18:00-19:30 today for a
scheduled upgrade. This should only affect developers with commit
access. As far as I know, the source browsers (FishEye and OpenGrok)
and anonsvn.mit.edu will continue to function.

Subject: [ISDA] SVN Server Downtime, today, 10/28/2009

Dear Colleagues,

For today's scheduled upgrades of several of IS&T's developer tools,
the Subversion system updates will require downtime. This is new
information and we apologize for the inconvenience. After speaking
with several technical leads in IS&T, it seems to be acceptable to
take SVN down from 6pm to 7:30pm tonight.

For developers who use the SVN system at svn.mit.edu, it is best to do
the following:

- Check in your local changes to the repository prior to 6pm.

- Refresh local project for which you might need access to
           source during the outage window.

Contacts for SAIS: Ryan Jones, Kevin Mullins
Contacts for ISDA: Andrew Boardman, Steve Landry

Thanks for your patience,
