Pre-Auth Plugins in 1.6.2?

Specifically the version in MacOS 10.5.6.

The (client-side) plugins seem to get loaded, but there is e.g. no -X  
option for kinit.  Haven't verified if the pre-auth plugin is actually  
called after it's loaded (but no longer so sure it must be).
