Difference in ticket expiration calculation in KFW(windows) and krb(unix) versions

HI,

     I have noticed that the ticket expiration logic in the file 
src\athen\auth\krb4\krbv4\krbdll\rd_req.c in kfw is different from that in 
the file src/lib/krb4/rd_req.c in krb(unix) versions.

In my case the client uses uses kfw and server uses krb(unix). When the 
ticket is about to expire, the client things that the ticket is still 
valid(since it is within the clock skew) but  the server rejects it(as the 
logic for calculating the expiration time is different at the server).

I was wondering if this difference in logic is by accident or is there a 
reason behind this.
