Usage of V5_AC_OUTPUT_MAKEFILE

Hi. I'm Venkat with Novell. We're working with MIT to provide LDAP /
eDirectory support to MIT KDC.

Please pardon me if I'm asking a silly question. I post this message
after going thro' the archives.

While working on configure.in, I encountered the V5_AC_OUTPUT_MAKEFILE
macro. I'd like to know what exactly it does. Even a link to some page
which has that info would be sufficient.
