Static compile on windows

I think an important question is what is not being exported that is
needed? I understand changing exports on a library to access some internal
functions is what is going on... Either the exports are too restrictive
(intentionally or unintentionally) - or there is a better way to
accomplish whatever is being done...

So - what functions are trying to be accessed?
