krb5.conf and kdc

I downloaded the followign and untar it at the root /

 

            krb5-1.3.4-i686-pc-linux-gnu.tar

 

on our linux box. All files were in /usr/local but I did not see krb5.conf,
and even the path of /usr/local/var/krb5kdc/kdc.conf. 

 

Is this a complete binary tar? 

 

Is KDC part of the package?
