Job opportunity with Lockheed Martin at Stennis Space Center,
Mississippi

BS degree in an information technology related discipline with 5+ years
of High Performance Computing Center security systems administration
experience; Excellent knowledge of CRAY/UNICOS, IBM RS/6000 SP4 and SP3
systems, SUN ENTERPRISE 10000 systems security software and processes;
Demonstrated grasp of Information Technology- Security Systems
Administration, Systems, Systems Administration and Networking
infrastructure; 2+ years experience as key individual providing IT
systems security administration; Comprehensive knowledge of systems
security software installation, customization and system network
security,  Wide Area Networks, Citrix Metaframe services, ORACLE
security products and IT security architecture  is required. Significant
knowledge of system security and accessibility (Kerberos, SSH, TCP
Wrapper,etc.) is required. Experience with Kerberos in AIX, Solaris and
IRIX environments, especially cross-realm certification.
Candidate must also have a good working knowledge of network principals,
system troubleshooting techniques, and the overall system life cycle.
Prior experience as a chief systems security architect is desired.
Excellent interpersonal and user interaction skills as well as technical
writing skills are necessary to perform these assignments.

This posting is made to support the NAVOCEANO High Performance Computing
Center, an installation of the DOD Major Shared Resource Center (MSRC)
network.
 
Applies current computer science technologies to the design,
development, evaluation, and integration of computer systems and
networks to maintain system security.  Communicates with commercial
computer product vendors in the evaluation and integration of
state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database
products.  Provides security engineering and integration services to
MSRC users.  Involved in a wide range of security issues including
architectures, electronic data traffic, network access.  Uses encryption
technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis techniques of various
security technologies, and performs information technology security
research.  May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies such as
Departments of Defense or Energy. 

Specific responsibilities of this position are:
Ensures HPC support systems meet NAVOCEANO and DOD system security
configuration requirements. Provide security systems engineering and
administration for systems software support and technology assessments
related to system software or architecture for a high performance
computing center. Will assist systems personnel to provide security
systems administration problem resolution assistance to User Support as
required. Responsible for security systems enhancement, including
incremental design/functional element configuration, interfaces,
coordination, and prototyping.  In addition, responsible for development
of H/W, S/W, and communications security procedures and documentation
and acceptance testing of security modules, subsystems, and total
systems. Will be responsible to perform security systems software
installation and configuration of all security software in the MSRC.
Will perform systems security auditing to ensure systems security
integrity, to ensure access is limited to only authorized (registered)
users of the MSRC.
