Password synching

We don't have a sync capability with MIT KDC, but I am sure we could developed one if required. However, It is our experience, that when somebody uses our KDC and has prior experience of MIT's KDC they rarely want to switch back to MIT because they like ours better :-)

I hope that you are able to find a solution to your requirements using MIT KDC and AD together. If however, in the future you change your mind and would like to consider a commercially supported product please let me know.

Thanks,
Tim.

Since password syncing would only be a temporary/transitional service, we want to continue using the MIT KDC. Otherwise, we then have to figure out how to transition from your product back to MIT Kerb. Is you product able to sync between MIT Kerb and AD?

DK,

Our KDC product has a module to sync passwords with accounts in Active Directory.

Please let me know if you are interested ?

Thanks, Tim.

Is anyone aware of any product that can sync passwords between an MIT Kerberos KDC and MS Active Directory?

Is it even possible to "hook into" a password change event in Kerberos? Can that trigger an event or something of that sort? I know that on the Windows side, you would add a password filter that would be called during the password change call and it would be used to make the change in external systems like Kerberos.
