Sources for Heimdal kerberos and OpenLDAP

OK.  I think you can do what you want with the Debian Heimdal
packages.

Look at libnss-ldap, libpam-heimdal and OpenAFS.  Note that currently
OpenAFS's group management does not interface with LDAP.  I solved
this problem by creating scripts to manipulate LDAP groups and AFS
groups at the same time.

You might actually be able to write an OpenLDAP backend that
interfaced to the AFS ptserver.

But no what you require really should not need recompiling Kerberos.
