1. "kdb5_util create ..." creates the krbtgt principal, and it takes the
   max renewal time from the kdc.conf, so this is a KDB creation issue.

2. You ought to update the krbtgt keys every once in a while.

3. There's no more complete documentation than the source :)
   When in doubt, RTFS.

4. You could use the send-pr utility that comes with MIT krb5 to send in
   a bug report about the kadmin documentation so that the documentation
   can be updated. I'll leave it to you.
