[I-mobile-u] current state of development?

Greetings.

We (UMN - Jaws) have been working with the 0.9 release of the "MIT  
Mobile Web Project" and are starting to reach a point where we are  
thinking about extending the system.

In the interest of being able to contribute back to the project we  
want to make sure we will not be reproducing any work or diverting too  
far from what everyone else is doing/has done. So, we are wondering if  
there are any plans to release any later versions of the MIT project?

What we want to start work on:
Implement a templating system
Tweaking the RSS service
Creating a configuration service.
Building Android/G-Phone views.

Also we'd like to touch base with any interested party to discuss how  
this project is developing for other institutions.
