Subject: Part Time Lecturers in Social Studies
Dear Karen,
Thanks for helping me out with this! As I said, the Committee on Degrees in
Social Studies at Harvard is currently looking for part time lecturers for
the upcoming academic year. If you could pass along this information to
those students who may be interested, I would greatly appreciate it.
Positions available to teach Social Studies 10, a year-long sophomore social
theory course, and/or Social Studies 98, a series of semester-long junior
tutorials, which immerse students in focused studies of social science or
historical topics and which provide instruction in research methods.
Additional responsibilities include supervising and evaluating senior
theses, academic advising, and conducting senior oral examinations. Lecturer
positions are for one year, with the possibility of renewal for two
additional years. For more information about Social Studies, an
interdisciplinary undergraduate concentration, please visit our website:
<http://www.socialstudies.fas.harvard.edu/>

Deadline for submission is February 27, 2012, all candidates must have their
Ph.D. By the date of appointment (June 30, 2012).
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me by phone at
