[GSC Orientation]

Good evening everyone,

Another successful orientation day completed, with the third session of 
Grad School 101, the Minority Welcome Dinner, and the International Student 
Mentorship Dinner!! Hope you appreciated the free food!
Tomorrow:

Friday, September 10
10pm onwards         Night Out on the Town [Departs Ashdown] (see details 
below)

Night Out on the Town:
We are going to Avalon, the best club in Boston (and also voted #1 club in 
the US in 2003)!! On Fridays, the night is called Avaland, and actually is 
composed of 5 different clubs connected together! This means plenty of 
variety in music styles! This is a 19+ night, so don't forget to bring your 
ID. Send an email to nite at mit.edu (before 6pm), and you will receive a 
discounted entrance fee ($10). We will depart Ashdown at 10pm and walk 
there (about 20min). That's gonna be a blast!!
(note: contrary to the first Night Out at Axis, Avaland is not a gay-themed 
night... even though everybody's welcome!!).
