GSC reps,

The GSC has one spot open to join a roundtable lunch discussion this week with MIT's Dean for Graduate Education, Christine Ortiz. This is a part of the Dean's strategic planning feedback process. It is also a nice opportunity to speak with the Dean in an informal setting. Food is provided, naturally.

Please reply to me directly if you are interested in attending.

What: Roundtable lunch discussion with the Dean for Graduate Education, Christine Ortiz
When: Thursday Feb. 24, 12-1pm
Where: Room 11-103
Who: Off-campus students preferred, though not required

Sample discussion questions include:
--What are your goals for attending graduate school at MIT?
--How would you characterize the culture of the MIT graduate community?
--What has been the best part of your time at MIT thus far?
--What are the major challenges you have experienced at MIT thus far?
--What are your ideas for what MIT could do to improve graduate education and the graduate experience at MIT?

Thanks,
Ulric
