[Gsc-hca-offcampus] Harpoon Brewery Tour

Dear Off-Campus Graduate Students,

Come join other Off-Campus Grads for a tour of the Harpoon Brewery! The GSC will subsidize transportation via the T and the tour.

WHAT:  Free Harpoon Brewery Tour + Tasting + Souvenir Glass
WHERE: Meet at the Kendall/MIT Station outside of the COOP
WHEN:  10:45 am on Saturday, January 16th, 2010
HOW:    Red Line to South Station and Silver Line 2 to the Brewery at Northern Ave & Harbor St

No need to RSVP, just show up on time. Also, IF YOU PLAN ON TASTING SAMPLES, DON'T FORGET YOUR ID.

Here's Harpoon's Shpeel: "Guided tour of our Boston Brewery followed by a tasting of Harpoon beers. You will be guided through the brewery on a tour with our staff and learn how Harpoon makes all of its beers. After the tour, all visitors over 21 years of age will enjoy samples of Harpoon and UFO beers. Tasting takes place in our Tasting Room and includes in-depth information about Harpoon and the great beers we brew. This information is narrated by our knowledgeable staff and includes complimentary samples of Harpoon and UFO beers. Time: about 1 hour. Includes a souvenir glass, tour, and tasting. A portion of fee goes to Harpoon Helps."

Finally, after the tour I am planning on heading to my apartment in Cleveland Circle to begin crafting my second-ever home brew. Everyone is welcome to join in and help me out if they'd like.
