[Gsc-hca-offcampus] Off-Campus Meeting - TODAY @ 6pm

Hi Off-Campus Grads,

We will be holding an Off-Campus meeting today (Tuesday 4/13) at 6pm at 
the GSC Office (50-220). Please stop by and help decide events for the 
remainder of the term. If you have not been to a meeting before, they 
are kept short and you get a free non-pizza dinner. It would be great if 
you brought some ideas for events, but feel free to just come and listen 
(and eat). If you plan to attend, please email jtc at mit.edu so that I can 
order plenty of food.

The other big event we have this week is the first ever Graduate 
Students Resource Fair to Off Campus Living. The details are below, but 
this is a great opportunity to get useful information about living off 
campus, such as tenants rights, what to look for before leasing a place, 
and information on setting up utilities. The event will be on Thursday 
(4/15) from 11am-2pm on the Student Street in the Stata Center (Bldg 32, 
first floor).

get helpful information and meet representatives from Utility Companies, 
Cambridge School System, Cambridge and Boston Police Depts, Cambridge 
Fire Dept, and many more. Representatives will be there from 11am to 2pm 
to provide information to help you understand your tenant rights. Don't 
let landlords take advantage of you.
