2. Join Eastgate on a trip to Singing Beach in Manchester by the Sea on
Sunday July 13. Singing Beach gets its name from singing sand, a type
of sand that makes noises when you walk on it.
We will leave Eastgate at 9:15, and take the Commuter Rail from North
Station, which should get us to the beach by around 11:30am. We will
bring a few beach toys, so please feel free to bring your own as well.
There is also a snack bar available at the beach.
All graduate students and their families are welcome! Cost is $6 per
adult and $1 per child under 12. This includes Commuter Rail ticket,
and beach entrance fee.
This event is sponsored by the GSC Funding Board and Eastgate.
