Hi Off-Campus Grads,
The GSC Officer Elections are tonight. If you are interested in getting
involved, it would be great to have an off-campus officer. Also, make sure
not to miss this years chocolate tasting. Last year was a huge hit, so we're
doing it again this year.

1) GSC Elections
The GSC Officer elections will be taking place tonight, Wednesday 2 April
2008 starting at 5pm in the GSC Office on the second floor of Walker
Memorial. We are still seeking nominations for the Secretary position. If
anyone is interested in this position or any of the other positions, please
come to the elections tomorrow to nominate yourself or get nominated.
Officer positions are:
President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The meeting is open to
all graduate students.

2) The Corporation movie screening & panel

3) Chocolate Tasting!
Saturday, April 5, 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Eastgate Penthouse Lounge Building
E55, 60 Wadsworth Street
Join us for an afternoon of chocolate tasting with gourmet chocolates from
all over the world. We will be exploring the complex universe of chocolate
flavors with white, milk, and dark chocolates from Lake Champlain, Felchlin,
and more.
Sponsored by spouses&partners at mit, the MIT Graduate Student Council, and the
Eastgate Community Association.

4) Grad Gala
After a fabulously successful debut last year the Grad Gala is back in 2008!
The second annual Grad Gala will take place on May 3rd at the beautiful Park
Plaza Hotel near the Boston Common.
Buy your ticket now before they're gone! Half of the tickets have already
been sold!

6) Ashdown Brunch
This Sunday, April 6, at 11 am, Ashdown House will host a brunch in the
Hulsizer Room. There will be pancakes, sausages, eggs, bagels, cereal,
fruit, muffins, and ice cream. Please bring your own plates, utensils, etc.
This event is sponsored by the Graduate Students Office and is open to all
graduate students.
