4. The MIT Club of Boston is co-sponsoring a charity harbor cruise this
Thursday (Sept 6th) along with 25+ other Boston-area alumni clubs.

Since classes are just starting up for the semester, we thought that MIT
grad students might be interested in attending. The target audience for
this annual event is local young professionals/graduate students.
The event features a live band, dancing, a spectacular harbor view at
sunset, and drinks/snacks (for purchase on board). All proceeds benefit AFC
Mentoring, a mentoring agency for foster and adopted children in Boston.

Here are the main details:
    When: Thursday, September 6, (7pm)
Where: Commonwealth Pier (Beside Boston World Trade Center)
Cost: $25 in advance (includes 1 drink from bar) or ($30 at the
    dock)
    Tickets & More Info: http://youngalumcharitycruise.googlepages.com/
