[Gsc-hca-family] [Gsc-hca-all] Tax Discrepancy Explained

Hi all,
In case you're curious, after our meeting today I found the gap between
what we remember paying in taxes and the calculator (for those who pay US
taxes).
Graduate students don't pay FICA taxes (social security + medicaid), which
would otherwise amount to a few thousand dollars a year.
Of course, this also means that our social security benefit could be
reduced on the other end. (Could be, since the benefit is based on your top
35 years paying in.)
Cheers,
Nicholas
