<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>In case you're curious, after our meeting today I found the gap between what we remember paying in taxes and the calculator (for those who pay US taxes).</div><div><br></div><div>Graduate students don't pay FICA taxes (social security + medicaid), which would otherwise amount to a few thousand dollars a year. </div><div><br></div><div>Of course, this also means that our social security benefit could be reduced on the other end.
