Hi ExComm,

We got a request from the Information Technology Policy Committee to have a
graduate student sit in on their next meeting, on *Thursday September 7 at
11 am*. This committee was established several years ago to provide advice
to the administration on new and/or complicated issues involving
information technology and how MIT uses it.

The topic of the upcoming meeting is going to be relevant to students, and
they would like a grad student to attend the meeting. *Can you please help
us advertise this opportunity by forwarding it to your committees?*
Interested students should send an email to gsc-vp at mit.edu about why
they're interested, any relevant experience, and confirmation that they
will be available to attend the meeting.

If any of you are interested in attending, that would be great as well!

We were not given any information about what the topic will be, but more
info will be sent to the person attending the meeting.
