Hi everyone,
Welcome to the start of longer days! Spring forward and let's make the most of it. Please enjoy our GSC DEI newsletter! 🌞
1. First-gen / Low Income (FLI) Community Dinner
Come meet first-generation and/or low income undergraduate and graduate students from across MIT on March 14th at 6 PM in W11 Main Dining Room. You can connect with FLI at MIT, FLI at Sloan, and GFLI at MIT (MIT's newest organization for FLI students across all graduate programs) while eating great food during this night of community building. Please RSVP here<https://forms.gle/4gSd9t2vED4adKYu8> so we can ensure there is enough food!

2. Lab to Impact NSF I-Corps Broadening Participation Summit
The NSF I-Corps program at MIT will be hosting a workshop focused on broadening participation for BIPOC and female university researchers interested in translational opportunities for their work. The event is open to faculty, graduate students, postdocs and research staff and will be a great networking opportunity to meet with fellow researchers from across the region and connect with innovation resources. It will be held at MIT beginning at 4 PM on Monday, April 24th and concluding the afternoon of Tuesday, April 25th.
Additional details and a link to request an invitation can be found in the flyer attached to this newsletter. Please contact MIT I-Corps (icorps at mit.edu<mailto:icorps at mit.edu>) with questions or requests for additional information.
