Hello folks!

TL;DR - The MIT Graduate Students Union (MIT GSU) has launched publicly
today!


The MIT grad student union is a group of grad students coming together to
improve our working and learning conditions and have a voice in the
decisions that affect us. We are announcing our unionizing campaign with a
launch rally on Monday, Sept. 27th at 5 PM.

I am super excited to support the MIT GSU! Graduate students are the
foundation of a thriving academic community and we deserve to work in an
environment that values our voices and treats us with respect. The union
will help empower all graduate students and in particular, it will have a
significant positive effect for underrepresented folks like URM, LGBTQ+,
and disabled grad students.
