GSC DEI Start-of-the-Year Welcome Event!

Join the Graduate Student Council Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee
(GSC DEI) for our start-of-the-year welcome event, and please spread the
word to your friends and colleagues (especially if they're new to MIT) and
encourage them to attend!

GSC DEI is a student-led organization with the mission to:

1. Collectively amplify the voices of, and advocate for, marginalized
groups in higher education;

2. Promote awareness, engagement, and community-building around diverse
experiences; and

3. Improve the recruitment, retention, and support of marginalized groups
via institution-level change.

At this welcome event with the current GSC DEI team, you can expect to:

- Learn about our past and upcoming advocacy work

- Hear about how you can get involved with GSC DEI - there are lots of
opportunities and positions available at many levels, and no prior
experience is required. We would love to work with you!

- Meet and chat with current graduate student advocates

colleagues to come with you - we always welcome new folks who want to get
involved!
