Sexual Assault Awareness Month Events Hosted by Student Advocates for Survivors
Grounding Flow Yoga: April 13, 5:15-6pm ET
Zoom: tiny.cc/sas-yoga
This low-impact, trauma-sensitive yoga class will include grounding poses to stretch the body and take a self-care break. No experience or special equipment necessary. It is helpful to wear comfortable clothes and have enough space to stretch out or walk a few paces. Please feel free to use these yoga props if you have them (but no worries if not): yoga mat, yoga block, and blanket.

Coping Skills to Support Healing
A Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) event
Join VPR and SAS on April 27th from 6:30-7:30pm ET in a workshop designed to increase your coping skills “toolbox” to use in moments of distress. All survivors and allies are welcome! She has discussed race, feminism, education, food politics, police violence, tech, and pop culture at institutions and universities across the country.
