R&B artist Janelle Monae will be opening for R&B-hit maker Jason Derulo at
the 2011 Spring Weekend Concert! Jason is known for his breakout hits

- The 2011 Gala will feature a sparking wine toast followed by an
exquisite three-course dinner (menu now available), live entertainment
by the Beantown Swing Orchestra (now featuring two "American Idol"
stars), and dancing throughout the evening.
- Only MIT graduate students and post-docs may purchase tickets. Each
student may buy one guest ticket. There is no physical ticket; there
will be a guest list at the event and you will check in there.
- Students may also purchase full tables of eight tickets. Subsidized drink
tickets and return shuttle tickets to 77 Mass Ave. are also available.

- This is one of the largest career fairs in the country, with 300+ employers and
5000+ students. Each year it provides an invaluable service to job-seeking MIT
students and generates a huge amount of revenue to help fund MIT student
organizations.
- This is an unbeatable opportunity to work closely with recruiters, build your
network and provide an invaluable service to students at MIT.
- We are looking for directors who are enthusiastic, committed and professional.
The fair will be held on September 21 and a part-time commitment over the
summer is required (residence in Boston).

o Publicity -- delivers key information to companies and MIT students via campus
resources in addition to creating the Career Fair guidebook.
o Week-of-Logistics -- works on networking events to get more employer and student
interaction such as organizing company information sessions and panels, in
addition to arranging interviews.
o Day-of-Logistics -- organizes all logistics for the day of the Career Fair.
o Facilitator -- maintains internal relations among the collaborating organizations, with
the MIT administration, and Careers Office.
